Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will be responsible for coordinating a thorough analysis of the current capabilities and performance of the company, competitors and relevant real estate markets.

The person will help to address the key question of how the business will be shaped in the future and examine creative ways that the company can move towards this "future state".

The successful candidate will then translate this vision for the firm into a framework for potential corporate activity and change over the next 3-5 years in order to enhance competitiveness and value.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Establish fact-base by engaging with key stakeholders to assess the firms performance, markets and competitors

• Develop first hypotheses with the key stakeholders on potential vision and strategy for the coming 3-5 years

• Play a key part in the group's new organisation required to deliver the vision via the strategy.

• Assess the firm's current portfolio and make recommendations for activity in new sectors and new markets. This will include creation and development of new businesses / JVs / PE funds / M&A activity as required

The successful candidate will have a strategic consulting background, from a top tier firn with a good education. Some exposure to real estate would be an advantage, but more key is an empathy with the key drivers of the business and a passion for the sector. Excellent analytical and communications skills will be combined with the influencing ability and style to build strong relationships quickly within the organisation.
