 Purpose:

Provide a wide range of support services to the Loan Servicing team to facilitate the achievement of department goals and objectives
The individual will have a strong real estate background and will provide real estate research capabilities and support to the German servicing team and the UK real estate debt consultancy team

Essential Functions:

- Undertake quarterly market research to ascertain rental values and property yields
- Build up a portfolio of property market contacts throughout Germany in all major commercial sectors
- Assist in writing quarterly commercial market updates
- Assist in writing marketing material and client specific market research
- Assist the German servicing team in any way required
- Assist the German NPL consultancy team in any way required
- Assist in real estate and debt due diligence and underwriting
- As required help do site inspections
- Undertake cash flow analysis of loan and real estate positions
- Assist in providing indicative commercial property valuations

Essential Key Responsibilities:
- Quarterly market reporting
- Ad hoc real estate research
- Property due diligence

Summary:

Provide high level of support to the Loan Servicing and Asset Management teams and clients through market research and real estate advice. Also help client relations and provide a high quality work product

Detail:
- Maintain files
- Prepare and maintain research filing system and material
- Daily monitoring of German markets
- Review, investigate and report market making transactions
- Contact and take instructions from clients as required - Support Asset Managers in preparing NPL / Real Estate Resolution Business Plans
- Prepare collateral evaluations for loans supported by securities or other acceptable types of collateral
- Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate „face to face‟ as a team player
- Other duties as assigned

Preferred Work experience requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Commercial Real Estate
- Basic understanding of Red Book valuations and German valuation methodology
- German Real Estate Experience
- The role will involve some client interaction, so some client facing experience preferable

Skills:
- Fluency in English and German
- Excellent reading and comprehension skills
- Be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal in both German and English
- Analytical skills to understand complex commercial loan documents and borrower financial statements
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Preferably work experience in both Germany and the UK

Computer Skills Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of the following is required:

- MS Office Suite including Outlook and Excel.
- Thorough familiarity with internet for research etc. - PowerPoint
